What is a Freight Quote?

This is the total cost of shipping based on the information provided. This includes, the weight, dimension, type of product being transported, destination as well as other factors.

Are my parcels protected?

Once your parcel is properly documented and officially under our care, we offer your package our GIT(Goods-in-Transit) Insurance. This gives you complete peace of mind in the case of loss or damage to your parcel while in transit with us.

Do you have prohibited items that cannot be shipped?

Yes we do. Our Prohibited items are as follows:

  • Foreign Rice
  • Hard Drugs; Cocaine, Cannabis, Marijuana, Weed, Tramadol etc.
  • Money
  • Filled Gas Cylinder
  • Contraband goods; this refers to goods that are taken into or out of a country illegally; foreign rice, tyres (fairly used/tokunbo tyres), Okrika clothes ,bags and shoes
  • Inflammable substances e.g. Gas, Petrol etc.
  • Live animals e.g. dogs, ram, goats, chicken etc
  • Perishable foods e.g. fresh vegetables & fruits.
  • Smoked/Cooked Meat or fish
  • Frozen foods e.g. chicken, turkey, fish etc.
  • Generator with Fuel
  • Matchet & Cutlass
  • Firearms, parts thereof and ammunition
  • Red oil

    Can someone else pick up my item on my behalf?
    How long can I leave my parcel at the destination before collection?

    All Parcels must be collected within 3days of arrival at our station, failure to pickup will attract a daily surcharge of #200 for smaller parcels and N500 for bulky parcels. Parcels abandoned at station in excess of one calendar year from date of arrival shall be disposed off at the discretion of the carrier.

    Why should the value of an item be declared?

    The value of an item is declared by the shipper to company with the purpose of determining charges, establishing the limit of company’s liability for damage, loss or delay.

    What times can your locations be accessed?

    Pickup time: 7:30am – 7:30pm daily

    Parcel Registration: 6:30am – 8:00pm daily.

    Can I send an item then the receiver pays (Pay on delivery)?

    For bike deliveries, we accept payment on delivery. However, for deliveries out of state and for heavy goods, payment should be made at the originating station by the sender in cash, POS or via transfer to the GUO Logistics account given.

    How much do you charge to waybill an item?

    Prices are determined by weight, size and value of the item. Please visit our Stations for more details.

    Do you do home delivery?

    Yes we do: Kindly call our office lines for assistance.

    Do you offer same-day delivery?

    We offer Express Delivery options with limited availability during peak seasons and holidays. Kindly notify us a day before delivery through our contact lines for assistance.

    How do I know when my item is ready for pick up?

    Firstly, we encourage GUO Logistics customers to track their parcels using our online tracking system. Following this, you will receive an automated SMS notification, sent to the phone number provided by your sender during waybill registration. Please note that there may be a delay in the SMS delivery due to network challenges beyond our control. Additionally, you will also be notified/contacted via the provided channel in the case of any eventuality..

    What form of identification do I need to pick up my Parcel?

    A Valid form of identification e.g. International passport, Driver’s license, NIN Card, Voter’s Card etc. Either Soft or Hard copy.

    How long does it take for my item to arrive at its destination?

    An Estimated time of arrival will be made available on your receipt during registration.
